Reviews

We have enjoyed the most amazing meals since lockdown. All very well organised , with collection at timed intervals.
Can't praise Kirsty & Kevin highly enough for their exceptional profession, warm and friendly attitude during these unusual times.
We look forward to returning to the pub , but in the meantime we will enjoy your fantastic cuisine in our home.

Excellent pub food. We had a lovely meal . I had the beer battered hake and chips followed by home made Bakewell tart. My husband had the steak and ale pie. It was all delicious. Also very generous portions.
The home made tart was excellent
This pub is keeping up standards during a very difficult time.
£58 for 2 with drinks.

The atmosphere, owners, food and drink is completely worth the visit to this pub. I have several intolerances and they could not have made me feel more comfortable and catered to them to allow me to have my first curry out in a restaurant in a VERY long time. I have been to this pub on several occasions and it has never disappointed me and despite the current pandemic they made me feel safe with all the precautions they have in place.

Great place, so friendly and fantastic homemade food. We were a group of 6 adults (ages ranging from 53 - 20) plus one dog, all were delighted with the evening. Everyone had wonderful food we had starters, steak and ale pies (best pies ever), steak and falafel, sticky toffee pudding (4 of us shared as we were so full, again full of flavour and light) and creme Brule. It was lovely to go somewhere where the food was all homemade and fresh and very welcoming. Great evening.

We stayed in a cottage in this picturesque village and were so lucky that The New Inn was our local. We had 4 meals there including an amazing Sunday lunch seated in the country garden. The homemade Yorkshire puddings were fantastic. The food was always wonderful and not expensive. The beer was good too.
